Welcome to Banavie Primary School.

The present roll at Banavie Primary is 114 pupils in 5 mainstream  composite classes and 5 pupils in the Special Unit.  There are 14 children in the Nursery Unit.

 

AIMS OF BANAVIE SCHOOL:

Ø      To produce a school community where pupils will learn self-respect, self-discipline, independence, perseverance and curiosity.

Ø      To produce literate and numerate pupils.

Ø      To develop each pupil’s personal, social and academic abilities through structured and challenging programmes of work in all areas of the curriculum.

Ø      To create and encourage opportunities for the personal and professional development of staff.

There are equal opportunities for all children regardless of ability, creed or colour at Banavie.

Further we align ourselves with the education services Anti Racist and Multi-cultural Guidelines for Primary and Nursery Education.

 

Enrolment

Enrolment for pupils is during the first full week of February for entry to school in August. Pupils must be five years by 28th February of the following year.
